  Today, Jehovah does not immediately execute those who violate his laws. (Though we wish he did) He lovingly gives them an opportunity to repent from their unrighteous works.(what a nice guy) How would Jehovah feel, (here it comes the big BUT) though, if the parents of an unrepentant wrongdoer(truly evil person deserving of death) kept putting Him to the test (little ant like people puting the god of the universe to the TEST) having unnecessary association with their disfellowshipped son or daughter?

  So in OTHER WORDS if you truly love Jehovah.....you will have no contact with your children!

  No matter how you spread it....lf it looks like shit and taste like shit....who knows maybe it could be.......

  james olsen and richaed wheellock both bethelites.. rich templet.

  rich and james out of guilt, richard out of depression.. james and rich were both under 30 years old.. after richard wheelock (a bethel heavy) killed himself the society changed it's stand on whether suicides could be resurrectioned or not..

  Has for the nunbers that have killed themselfs...only god knows.

  The silent killer Guilt!....and what does a better job of guilt then religion?

  It the class of "67" 40-50 of my class mates when to Viet Nam...no one was killed over there but 5 guys came back and took their own lives....guilt pain....who really knows

  They say people that kill themselfs really don't what to die....they just can't continue to live in the "Hell" of what their lives have became.

  Why is it that most people choose dying in their sleep.....death catchling them unaware.....

  If there is life after death....it would be quit strange to go to bed one night in this reality and then......... and then be dropped into the next

  I would like to enjoy the process a little.

  these thoughts were inspired by a comment made on my very first post, in which i mentioned that while my husband and i have had our eyes opened regarding this religion were not ready to give up the friends and family just yet.

  Good question....

  Once you take the "red pill"....you can't go back. You can live there for a while. I figured it out 1995-96 but I didn't totally leave until 2001....I too was not ready to lose it all.

  It's like eating at a restaurant.....your enjoying the meal but everytime you eat there the bill keeps going higher.....one day, the meal will not be worth the cost. For everyone it's different....Who knows when that day come for you....

  getting through the tough steps toward real freedom from the wts involves a lot of work for some.

  many, start out angry that their authentic lives were hampered by a high-control group of men posing as god's organization.

  we feel robbed of something we can't quite put our finger on sometimes.

  I look at them and see myself many years ago....lost and misguided....my heart goes out to them no matter how SR they are.

  The strangest looking (and acting) nut jobs you have ever seen at the KH!

  there are so many after after 52 years in the "borg".. my top two would have to be at my last hall tigard oregon.. one lady slept in her pickup truck with 30 parakeets, sometimes in the kh parking lot.

  people tried to help her with accommodations but she like the truck.

  she really dressed up for the meetings......feather boa's, big hats, looked like may west from the 30's.

  After all the wonderfull stories....of nut jobs...I almost forgot the biggest crazy I ever knew!

  Myself.....how many here can boast of over 50 years in the "borg/insanity"....before escaping?.....I know pretty freaky!

  i know i was!------------ in my "20s" there was no one more "self righteous" then me.

  i thought everyone should be pioneering since we were so close to 1975!.

  i actully had a card make up to hand to people saying "have sword will travel"------on the bottom it said a a a {available after armageddon} because i tought anyone who got married before then was a slacker.. what a "jerk" i was!!!.

  That's why I think it is important to have compassion for "SR" people who are still "in the tooth".....at one time we were them!

  REINSTATED AND STILL SHUNNED!

  i was at a wedding last summer were i met an old friend.

  he had been reinstated for 6 months, he was dfed for 4 years.. he had been an elder for 10 years before that, he had commited adultery with another "brothers" wife.

  i asked him how it was going.
